Over a span of three years, the dialogues will focus on four main topics, namely: Youth, Natural Resource Governance, Urbanization, and Economic Growth and Inequality. These four topics are at heart of Africa’s renaissance discourse, and will in many ways determine and shape Africa’s socio-economic and political fortunes in the 21st century.

The dialogues and allied public engagement encounters take place in all the five countries that make up the East African Community and take several forms including seminars, public forums, panel discussions, and social media. We will ensure that each event is stage appropriate, designed to address an important and urgent national issues of the host country or city, while drawing on the wider regional context to motivate a regional conversation.
