Badru Juma Rajabu is highly skilled communications specialist with 2+ years of experience in internal and external communications, public relations, and management of NGO’s. His distinguishing trait is that he treats communication as entertainment. The reason is simple: if something is not funny or relevant enough, people switch the channel.

Badru has a special interest in personal branding and believes that the road to success is all about effort. Based in Dares salaam, Tanzania, he is determined to uncover the secrets of how successful people and companies communicate. He currently is a member of Open Mind Tanzania, an NGO focused on youth development, capacity building, and youth participation in politics, governance, security, conflict resolution, national and international peace and stability, and other nation building ingredients.

He is a member of various youth-based organizations including the World Youths Alliance and the United Nations Youth Association in Tanzania (YUNA), Global Change Makers, and a signatory to the East African Community Youth policy. He is also an Ambassador of the Global Peace Youth Corps and has spoken at various conferences and seminars particularly in the South and East African coast. Furthermore, Badru is the Principal Co-Fonder of Makerere University’s East African Community Chapter which assists young students in career development, personal branding, leadership, and civic engagement.
